Turkey: Yüksek Sadakat to sing ‘Live It Up’

One of the most notable countries in the Eurovision Song Contest is surely Turkey managing to achieve great results with each and every participation. This year, they have gone for the up and coming group, Yüksek Sadakat, who are a gamble in my opinion. The choice was not their initial one but still the agreement was reached quite quickly with many fans ending up disappointed. The song which they will be performing in Dusseldorf, bears the name ‘Live It Up’.

You can watch the press conference of the Turkish broadcaster, TRT, through the official website of the Eurovision Song Contest. We are awaiting the feed to start so that we can let you know our thoughts about the song which the group will be presenting in this years’ Eurovision Song Contest. Please note that Turkey was the runner-up in last years’ edition which took place in Oslo, Norway. Iriz Ozden of the broadcaster is now presenting the press conference to the people present and all over Europe. The group are currently answering to some questions being made by the media. A timer on the screen as we await the song. The song is actually not rock but pop/rock and I must say that I have my doubts about it’s chances to do very well but yet again, diaspora will definitely aid Turkey in this years’ bid. The lyrics have an interesting message and the diction is good but it is missing something.
