The preparations for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest are gearing up all over the continent with several countries working hard to promote their respective choices in other nations whilst others are making sure that the selection is organized in the best possible way. In Spain, it is more of the latter at this moment in time with the choice of Pastora Soler still receiving a lot of praise amongst the members of the media in the country. For quite a long time, the artist has maintained a level of stardom in her country and when being nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in recent years, that stardom was somewhat elevated. TVE have prepared things accordingly and have also opened the tele-voting.
The Spanish selection in 2012 consists of just three (3) entries, two of which were chosen by the production team of the artist along with the broadcaster and the other one as chosen by the public. The three songs which could be seen and heard through the links below can now be voted due to the fact that the televoting has now officially opened. The broadcaster, TVE have also announced that they will be giving away two (2) special prizes during the show, includeing the chance to win a cash prize of 15,000 Euros or even a trip for two (2) persons to go to the Eurovision Song Contest Final in Baku, Azerbaijan. Spain will be competing in the final of this years’ event being part of the Big Five.
