Malta: Stand Out Events Present Sanremo Junior


Gaia Cauchi, the young female vocalist who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, first garnered national fame following her outing as representative of Malta at the prestigious Sanremo Junior organised by JEF where she won her category with the song One Night Only from the movie/musical Dreamgirls.  In 2014, Malta will return to the competition thanks to Stand Out Events, a company which has organised the concerts of Zucchero, Antonello Venditti and former Eurovision Song Contest winner, Loreen.

A Press Conference to launch Malta’s participation in Sanremo Junior is set to take place on Wednesday 22nd January 2014  at the Sir David Bruce Hall in the Mediterranean Conference Centre. The event, open to singers and musicians alike will be featuring a total of three (3) categories; from six (6) to nine (9) years, from ten (10) to twelve (12) years and from thirteen (13) to fifteen (15). Participants have to make sure that they fit into the required age by the 31st December 2014.
