The B&W Hallerne in Copenhagen, Denmark will be hosting the 2014 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in just over a month with Maltese hopes resting on the group Firelight and their entry Coming Home written by Richard Edwards Micallef, having won the jury vote during the national selection held back in February. The Public Broadcasting Services, like most of the broadcasters decided to forego a major promotional tour with visits to promotional parties in The Netherlands and the United Kingdom planned over the next two to three weeks.
In the meantime, the state broadcaster, which in turn is responsible for the participation of Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest has just revealed an online competition, asking for the general public to submit a selfie (photo of themselves) which could very much become part of the illustrious backdrop that Malta will be using during the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest set to take place on the 8th May 2014.
