In 2013, Kevin Borg emerged as the clear favourite to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Needing You” co-written with Danne Attlerud, Thomas Thornholm, Michael Clauss and Simon Gribbe. Eventually, he was beaten into second place by the infectious Gianluca, whose song “Tomorrow” won over European hearts by achieving Malta’s best result in eight years. Since then, Kevin has kept a low profile in Malta, focusing on his songwriting, with rewards being reaped every time once of his tracks is out for sale.
