#TeamMalta ran into the press conference, moderated by Denis Dudinsky in positive spirits, taking questions from local and international media outlets. Ela was bursting with energy throughout, even singing a beautiful rendition of Viva Malta, with her father providing backing vocals to the amusement to all those present. Asked why she’s not performing in Maltese at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Ela said that while she greatly enjoys singing in the language, she wanted the message of the song to reach a wider audience, hence why the choice of English.
In a series of questions put forward by the press present, Ela highlighted that her 3 favourite performers are: Jael from Australia, Darina from Ukraine and Daniel from Belarus. She also spoke positively about Belarusian delicacies and the beautiful scenery, especially the forests which are the biggest in the world.
