“All of My Love” is the song that Destiny will sing at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The seventeen year old songstress will perform the song during the first semifinal on May 12th.
The song has been written by Bernarda Brunovic, Borislav Milanov, Sebastian Arman, Dag Lundberg, Joacim Persson and Cesar Sampson. They are part of the collective Symphonix International, spearheaded by Milanov himself. His compositions will also represent Bulgaria and Germany at the contest this year.
After emerging victorious in the last season of X Factor Malta in early February, Destiny was given the right to represent the island at Europe’s most watched TV show. She dedicated her win to her late grandfather, who recently passed away and had been encouraging her to take part in the show.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Destiny has stepped on a Eurovision stage. After winning the Junior Eurovision in 2015 with her song “Not My Soul“, she also appeared as a guest at the 2016 contest in Stockholm. Last year in Tel Aviv, she took the role of backing vocalist for Michela’s “Chameleon”.
Eurovision and X Factor are not the only two places where the young talent appeared – she also took part in Britain’s Got Talent back in 2017.
Now that Malta’s song has been chosen for the contest – Destiny and the team at TV station PBS will be spending the next weeks under preparation for the big show in the Netherlands. In a little more than eight weeks time, team Malta will arrive in Rotterdam for the first rehearsals at the 15,000 capacity Ahoy Arena.
