L-Għanja tal-Poplu has published the names of the 16 songs, the songwriters and the artists through to the final of the 44th edition. The 44th edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu will be taking on a different format than usual, with the finalists all getting the distinct opportunity of recording a high quality music video, with the production team at the Public Broadcasting Services putting on a televised festival, which will come to an end with the results, and the presentation of the trophies.

66 Submissions for the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2020

The Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza and the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza Junior, will be taking place for another year, giving the opportunity for singers to perform original songs in Maltese. Both music competitions will take place during the month of September, with the finals set for the 18th and 19th September 2020. They will be broadcast live on NET Television.
