In recent months, there has been a lot of talk in the musical theatre world about the movie adaptation of the astonishing Les Misérables which remains to this day one of the most favourite productions on both Broadway in the United States and also the West End in the United Kingdom. The theatrical adaption most recently celebrated twenty five years and they made quite a big deal out of it, so much so that in the long run, Working Title Films along with Universal Pictures are developing it together under the guidance of Director Tom Hooper who is extremely well known for being the director of Academy Award Winning Movie; The King's Speech but what is of interesting to the people who love the world of the Eurovision Song Contest is two of the stars in the cast have actually been the European competition already.

When the casting was being put forward, there had to be the inclusion of some names which had been starring in the musical version and therefore be of a wise aid to the people who were somewhat new to playing a role within a musical noting that the movie stars well known individuals such as Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfriend. The two stars who have been to the Eurovision Song Contest are none other than Colm Wilkinson who will be playing the role of Bishop of Dagne and also Frances Ruffelle who will be playing the role of a prostitute. The first individual mentioned had done the honour for Ireland way back in 1978 where with the track Born to Sing he finished in fifth place whilst the latter woman represented the United Kingdom in 1994 with the beautiful song We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony) which in turn managed to finish in tenth place.
