France: Natasha St-Pier Returns With New Album
France was a dominant force to be reckoned with in the Eurovision Song Contest throughout the years noting that their songs were very much appreciated and the broadcasters all wanted a hand in picking their respective entries. Nevertheless, they have fallen short in these past couple of years with very few positive results to their name. Nevertheless, one lady who had managed to stun the rest of the continent was none other than Natasha St-Pier with the beautiful ballad Je n'ai que mon âme finishing in a respectful fourth position behind the likes of Estonia, Denmark and Greece. She is back with a brand new set of original songs.

She is still one of the most popular names in the French music scene following up with albums which have reached the higher echelons of the charts but nevertheless, her last two albums have been far less successful and therefore, with a brand new producer she has developed a new style, one which reflects her current happiness. Her brand new album which bears the name Bonne Nouvelle is released with Sony Music France and she is hoping that with her crystal cut vocals, she could sing her tracks in a much more mellow tone. The very first single off the album was not too much of a success but the album has already peaked at number #11 in France making it the most successful album in a very long time. She has already announced her new single being Juste comme ça (As it is), a duet with upcoming male sensation Mickaël Miro. The track will be released on radios this summer so stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for more information as soon as it becomes available.
