Malta: Singing in Maltese on 'Don't Stop Me Now'

The countdown for the end of the season of summer is now upon us and that means that the programming that has been ongoing in the past couple of weeks will also be coming to an end making way for a brand new television season, one which is anticipated by quite a number of television viewers. One of the shows which has garnered a lot of interest in recent weeks has been reality music show 'Don't Stop Me Now' hosted by none other than the well known Eileen Montesin whose sole aim has been to find local talent with a brilliant personality to match and with only four programmes to go, it will be quite interesting to see how the rest of the competition will ultimately shape up.

For yet another week, the ten participants will be fighting to gain a total of twenty points, ten of which will be given by the weekly judges on the performances which will circling around the theme of local songs from the past. The judges include none other than former Eurovision Song Contest representative Moira Stafrace, musical theater performer Ray Mangion and media personality Catherine Mifsud. In the meantime, one of the acts will also be singing a duet with none other than this years' Malta Eurovision Song Contest runner-up Richard Edwards and if the performance is liked by the judges, an extra five points may be given to the respective artist. Christine Haber will also be on hand within the show to perform at the end of the programme but she will also be treating the contestants to yet another task which will also see another ten point handed out. Make sure to tune in to Television Malta (TVM) watch the show tomorrow night after the news at 20:00 CET in order to watch the programme.
