In the past couple of months, there has been somewhat of a resurgence when it comes to local bands with the introduction of quite a couple but it is to be duly noted that one of them who received initial support and online media coverage was The Crowns, a group which is fronted by the lead vocalist Victorio Gauci but which also features; guitarist Gianluca Cappitta, keyboard player Jean-Paul Mollicone, drummer Luke Vella Clark and bassist Chris Ciantar. Following the huge success of their debut single Memories and then their sophomore release Out of Nowhere, the band were nominated for a Malta Music Award and even won two Bay Music Awards and they are back with a brand new track entitled Never Ends.

It is quite important to note that musically speaking there has been an evolving style, one which is surely working for the lads who have shown themselves to be worthy newcomers to the scene. They have a strong growing fanbase as witnessed during their most recent gig supporting none other than Wintermoods who are one of the two most followed groups in the country. Apart from a brand new track, it also has an accompanying video so that the promotion is done in the best possible way. When you listen to the song for the very first time, you will be noticing the direction that they have took being somewhat more mellow and more current. Honestly enough, this sounds like another hit in my ears and I hope that it manages to succeed to keep their perfect record in tact.
