89.7 Bay have always helped promote local homegrown acts and thus represent the best that the local music scene has to offer especially in these past couple of years when there has been an improvement with regards to the production of the tracks that artists are releasing onto the market. Sheer appreciation is shown by the people when tracks are being asked to be played on the radio of course even though the music critics are then brought in to assess the respective music and ultimately give out awards at the end of the year. One of the tracks that has been setting things on fire in recent days and weeks has surely been What I'd Give performed by Ira Losco who currently sits at the number #1 spot on the 89.7 Bay Radio Local Chart as presented on Monday night by Nathan D.

Ira Losco has been away from the local music scene for quite some time noting that her last album entitled Fortune Teller was released way back in 2008 and in the next couple of months, there will be a new product, one which will be redefining the performer in general. The very first track released falls under the reggae genre and most reviews have been glowing just because she has decided to mellow down and take up something different to what people have become used to. This is the fourth week in the chart of 89.7 Radio and therefore, it is one of the quickest entries to rise so to speak. In the meantime, promotion seems to be heavy on this track noting that there has been a lot of coverage on the single and also on the video shot by Take2Entertainment. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for more updates about Ira Losco and her upcoming music releases.
