In 2006, Claudia Faniello made her debut within the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with the track High Alert. Since then, the female vocalist has come an extremely long way, going onto release her debut album Convincingly Better with CAP Sounds with distribution handled by Universal Music Germany back in 2010.

This collection signalled the beginning of a new sound, one which surprised the public in a positive manner, ultimately leading to the release of When It's Time, a co-write with Errol Sammut which in turn competed as part of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The track, written in a pop/rock genre finished in seventh place during the competition whilst managing to peak at number #2 on Malta's Top Ten with Nathan D on 89.7 Bay, where it has been given airplay for a relatively long period of time.

In support of the track, Claudia released an official music video, one which has amassed more than 11,000 views on viral website, YouTube, and which you could also view below. In an exclusive announcement to escflashmalta.com, Claudia Faniello revealed that she will not be entering the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, opting to work on her sophomore album alongside a number of esteemed songwriters.

escflashmalta.com is planning to support Claudia Faniello in all her upcoming endeavours, albeit, we have to be honest in stating we are going to be disappointed not to be seeing her name in lights for the first time in eight years. Her career thus far included two first runner-up finishes in the world of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest, with Caravaggio in 2008 and Pure in 2012. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for all of the latest news about the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
