The amount of competitions that take place during the year in Malta is surprisingly high but then again, there are a number of showcases which attract the biggest stars in the music industry and these are of course; the Malta Eurovision Song Contest, the Malta Summer Hit Song Contest, the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza and the Għanja tal-Poplu. The 62nd edition of Sanremo is just two days away, and like every year, it will be held at the Ariston Theatre, one of the most prestigious theatres in Italy.
