Montengro in the Eurovision Song Contest has only been successful with the aid of its neighbouring country Serbia noting that when participating together, they managed to garner two top ten results but whilst the latter has gone onto even win the competition, the former is still struggling to qualify to the final. RTCG, the state broadcaster of Montenegro is responsible for the nations' participation and they have gone down several routes at this point in time noting that their best result was an eleventh place finish in 2009 thanks to Andrea Demirovic and her entry Just Get Out of My Life co-written between Ralph Siegel, Bernd Meinunger and José Juan Santana Rodriguez. Following a brief withdrawal between 2010 and 2011, they returned earlier this year with Euro Neuro performed by Rambo Amadeus which was not perceived in a positive manner and finished in fifteenth place. Rumours are going round in the local media that No Name might return to the competition having represented Serbia & Montenegro in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest.

Following their participation in the 2005 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Ukraine, the group went onto win a controversial selection for Serbia & Montenegro in 2006 which subsequently led to not only their withdrawal but even to a dissolution between the two countries. Just two years later, the group No Name became no more because they disbanded. According to the Serbian based tabloid; Kurir, the state broadcaster of Montenegro has been in contact with the band with a possibility of returning to the music scene with the participation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 looming noting that they would like to qualify for the final and ultimately garner a positive result especially when taking into consideration that Zauvijek Moja was a brilliantly written Balkan Ballad which was the songwriters' award and finished in seventh place. There are some other names which are being floated around in the media but No Name seem to be a sure bet according to clear insider sources. We will be keeping you posted here on escflashmalta.com so make sure to stay tuned!
