The Eurovision Song Contest has got another hearthrob: It's 22-year-old singer Robin Stjernberg, a new promise in the Swedish pop scene, whose career kicked off in 2006 when won the Sommarchansen (The Summer Song) in Malmö that year and went to Stockholm to become one of the four singers of the prospective boy band What's Up! One of bandmates was none other than pop sensation, Eric Saade, who rose to fame when in 2010 he competed in Melodifestivalen with Manboy. A year later he did Melodifestivalen with Popular, the actual 2011 Swedish ESC entry.

In 2011 he took part of Swedish Idol and was the runner-up behind Amanda Fondell, who also competed with Robin in this year's Melodifestivalen with Dumb, but voted out of the contest. 2013 is the year for the Scandinavian country to be the host after last year's Loreen's storming Eurovision victory with the powerful eurodance track Euphoria. Malmö, the host city of the Eurovision Song Contest 1992, will be this year's contest home.

You by Robin Stjernberg qualified to the final from Andra Chansen (The Second Chance), together with Anton Ewald's Begging. It is the first time for a song from Andra Chansen to be awarded the wooden bird, which opens a whole new perspective in the song selection. The song, written by Linnea Deb, Joy Deb, Joakim Harestad Haukaas and Robin Stjernberg himself, is a pop track that some might find it similar to Bruno Mars' Marry You in style. It also features Robin's melodic vocals that reach high notes pretty well and naturally. As Sweden is the host country, he will compete directly in the Final on May 18th. 2013.
