Moldova, one of the most successful countries in the Eurovision Song Contest has managed to qualify through to the final on seven attempts out of eight with the odd one out being Geta Burlacu with her entry A Century of Love. Last year, the country represented by Pasha Parfeny and the song Lăutar achieved the third best result and this year, one of his backing vocalists, by the name of Aliona Moon will be taking to the stage of the first semi-final in Malmö with the track O Mie. During the course of the week, the postcard which will introduce her performance was recorded.

It seems that it might actually include parts of the entry which she would be performing moments later according to a video which appeared online. TRM, the broadcaster responsible for the participation of Moldova has always selected competent artists with a stunning vocal range and the juries along with the public have awarded the choices well. Aliona Moon seems to be carrying the torch in a positive manner because her performance during the national final was just stunning and despite the large selection of entries, it was truly a stand out entry. O Mie which translates into A Million is also co-written by Pasha Parfeni who as already been noted down was last years' representative. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for all of the latest news about this years' edition of the Eurovision Song Contest as soon as it becomes available.
