In 2013, for the second time in their participation history, Serbia failed to get through to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest by virtue of finishing in eleventh place with just forty-six (46) points, making it the worst result ever from the balkan country. As a matter of fact, when they failed to qualify back in 2009 with the song Cipela performed by Mark Kon & Milaan, they had still finished in tenth place but the jury opted for Croatia who were represented by a beautiful ballad which had originally finished fiftheenth. Moje 3, the artists who did represent Serbia this year called it a day and will no longer perform as a group.

RTS, the broadcaster responsible for the participation of Serbia were said to be extremely disappointed with the result especially considering that they had finished in third place the previous year thanks to Nije Ljubav Stvar performed by Zeljko Joksimovic. Ljubav Je Svuda, the song which closed the first semi-final was one of the surprises of the song but it seems that the horrendous outfits and make-up did not help the viewers pick up their phones and vote. Image is quite important, even in the Eurovision Song Contest. The group got together after finishing as the top three of the talent show, Prvi Glas Srbije and weren't expected to remain together unless success came their way. All the three of them will pursue solo careers with Mirna set to release her debut album at some point this year. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for all of the latest news.
