Firelight are currently planning to jet off to the Eurovision Song Contest and represent Malta with the song Coming Home written by Richard Edwards Micallef. Opening the second semi-final will be no easy feat but nevertheless, the group seem ready to take Europe by storm following their short promotional tour in The Netherlands, Russia and the United Kingdom. Garnering support from music professionals all around, it comes as no surprise that the Norwegian Jury on ESC+PLUS have voiced their support for the entry.

Christine Guldbrandsen who represented Norway in the 2006 with the song Alvedansen and Dina Mislund who tried her luck at representing her home country in this years' edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Needs both agreed that Malta should come out on top in the international competition voting with Something Better performed by Softengine on behalf of Finland finishing in second place and Calm After the Storm sung by The Common Linnets for The Netherlands in third place. Stay tuned to for all the latest news.
