Ukraine: A Plight of Peace made by Ruslana

10 years ago, the Eurovision Song Contest was significantly different, having just undergone a radical change with the inclusion of the 1 semi-final system apart from the fact that it was being hosted in Turkey, a country which no longer participates in the event. The winning artist on that occasion, Ruslana and her song 'Wild Dances', which she co-wrote with Aleksandr Ksenofontov, Jamie Maher, Michael Fayne and Sherena Dugani led to the beginning of a career, which has seen Ruslana sway from music to politics in an instant.

In support of her native Ukraine, Ruslana has appealed to her fans across Europe with a special message which she has sent to the local and international media. Generally speaking, she would like to create a video message, which will be edited into the form of a flashmob, and the biggest the group of people that could take part the better. The video recording, which does not have to be professional, needs to be submitted by tomorrow, May 24th, at 12:00 (ETT) and will be coined as a Prayer for Ukraine, Peace and Tranquility!
