Sinitta, one of the most recognisable individuals on television in the United Kingdom, and a former pop-star back in the eighties has seemingly set her sights on the Eurovision Song Contest according to a recent interview on tabloid, Metro. Born in the United States, Sinitta moved to the United Kingdom quite a long time ago, and has spoken about the competition on a couple of occasions, having been a part of the pre-selection process back in 1984, just three years before becoming well known.

Speaking about Conchita Wurst's victory at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Rise Like a Phoenix", Sinitta states that she could pull off a similar gimmick and 'might stick on a moustache', forgetting that the song bearing the same name as her supposed gimmick barely avoided the dreaded nil points on behalf of France. Sinitta was speaking her mind prior to her performance in the London Pride Parade on Saturday where Conchita Wurst will also be planning to make a guest appearance. There, she intends to get some tips from the recent winner of the Eurovision Song Contest. We urge you to stay tuned to escflashmalta.com even through Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news.
