Adie, one of the more recent female vocalists to conquer the local music scene managed to enter the charts on 89.7 Bay with the song Cry For You last year, occupying different positions for a couple of weeks. An official music video accompanying the track had also been published for promotion and therefore, it does not come as a surprise that Adie is taking up the same route with her latest release, entitled Feel. Nicola Philo, British songwriter and winner of a prestigious songwriting competition in the United Kingdom is the individual responsible for this track. Feel is described as 'an expertly crafted pop song with an Indie feel that deals with the familiar emotions of insecurity in love in an original and direct way'.

Feel was officially launched on the 4th July at The Palace Hotel in Sliema but nevertheless, the official music video accompanying the track came just a couple of days later. MCAST is known for a hands-on approach in their courses and therefore it comes as no surprise that both the videos of Claudia Faniello and Adie were filmed by students who have to carry out their coursework prior to their summer break. One of the members of the group behind the recording of the video was actually a sibling of Sean Aquilina, the man responsible for the music video of Cry for You which was selected as the BEst Video by the Mużika Mod Ieħor Listenings' Picks Poll organised by Toni Sant. Feel was recorded in Malta at Freetime Studios with mastering taking place by Universal Music in the United States. You may purchase your own copy of the track through iTunes. In the meantime, stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for all of the latest news.

Over the past couple of years, there has been renewed interest in the local music scene and this is due to the major advancements made in the production session which has seen songs taking up more of an international feel with the possibility of being sent abroad to a number of music stations with the top of airplay. The success of the likes of Chiara, Ira Losco, Winter Moods, Fabrizio Faniello, Airport Impressions, Red Electrick, Joseph Calleja and Tenishia amongst others give hope that one can achieve in the industry they put their heart and soul in. One of the singers who is hoping to succeed is none other than upcoming Adie who has already worked with one of the leading rappers in the country; Hooligan apart from taking up the best video award through the Mużika Mod Ieħor series of podcasts as hosted by music expert; Toni Sant.

The brand new single entitled Cry For You stays true to the music that Adie has performed in recent years but this particular track has more of a kick than expected featuring a vocal style of rhythm and blues apart from keeping the tempo slow in the form of a ballad. The mixture of the two represents an urban modern style which is well and truly appreciated by the audiences in Malta. The launch took place about three weeks ago within a leading wine-bar in the country at the Valletta, Waterfront and there was quite a number of high profile people in the entertainment industry including Antonella Vassallo, Julie Pomorski, Angela Agius, Lara Azzopardi and Ben Camille amongst others. The latter two were also the stars of the video which you can see below. Keep tuning into www.escflashmalta.com for all the latest news about the local artists.
