Gozo, sister island of Malta, and home to an incredible amount of talented singers and songwriters, will be lacking in submission numbers according to our intelligence, with both Pamela and Ruth Portelli opting out of the 2015 edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest.

With the time-frame being respectfully limited and with other projects, it does not come as a surprise that a couple of vocalists will be sitting a year out. Ruth Portelli spoke directly to the editorial team of whilst Pamela stated her intentions during a recent interview she gave to Natius Farrugia and Deo Grech during the Summer Hit Song Contest which airs on F Living.

Between them, the talented ladies had been part of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest set-up a total of eight times, with Pamela participating on seven occasions between 2005 and 2014, and Ruth Portelli making it through to the final back in the 2010 edition. We urge you to stay tuned to even through Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news as soon as it becomes available.
