On Saturday 4th April, the Grandmaster's Suite at the Hilton Hotel played host to Sanremo Junior Malta 2015, a national selection process in which a panel of professional judges selected three (3) artists from three (3) different age brackets, to represent Malta in Sanremo Junior 2015, held on the 15th April 2015 at the Ariston Theatre in Italy, whilst accompanied by an orchestra.

Albert-Lauren Agius and Christina Magrin, students of Gillian Attard at La Voix Academy as well as Isaac Mercieca, student of Pamela Bezzina at Vocal Booth Studios have won their respective categories and the opportunity to represent Malta at Sanremo Junior 2015. Apart from the category winners as chosen by the panel of professional judges, there were also prizes given to the public choice, as chosen by the public viewers on television, and the audience in the hall, as well as the categorical results chosen by a special kids jury, whose results did not bear too much difference from those of the professional panel of judges.

The show, hosted by Elaine Saliba with the support of magician Gwylim Bugeja was broadcast directly through Television Malta (TVM), not only incorporated a total of twenty-five (25) participants, but also featured a number of highly acclaimed guests amongst which Kurt Calleja, Monia RussoDestiny Chukunyere, Laetitia Amodio, Karl Luke Schembri, Kylie Meilak, Sebastian Calleja, CentreStage Academy, St Michael Foundation and winner of Holland’s Got Talent 2014, Amira Willighagen. Sanremo Junior is organised by Societs Kismet srl and is turning six (6) this year. The selection process in Malta is led by Antonella Vassallo of Stand Out Events. Erseb Productions, a renowned company in the local festival circuit with well over thirty years of experience, has given rise to several talents along the years, including acts such as former Eurovision Song Contest representative; Miriam Christine. As days, weeks, months and years go by, the talent in Malta continues to evolve and we aim to promote that talent in the best possible way by offering international exposure.

During the course of the year, Erseb Productions will be visiting a total of 3 international competitions. Kicking off the proceedings is the "Voci dal Sud" festival in Italy between the 26th and the 28th July with 12 participants; Giulia Cilia, Jahel Cardona, Kelsey Bellante, Raisa Marie Micallef, Michela Pace, Althea Mifsud, Michela Dalli and Lindsay Mallia who have directly qualified to the final as well as Kayley Cuschieri, Mariah Nicola Vella, Emma Muscat and Danika Cutajar who have to pass the semi-final stage of the competition.

In August, Erseb Productions will be heading to the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia with Jean-Claude Azzopardi, Veronica Rotin, Rachel Lowell and Clarissa Cauchi as part of the line-up in the 'Lake Pearls', a competition taking place between the 14th and 15th. Then between the 8th and 9th August, it will be time for Martina Cutajar, Riona DeGeorgio and Aidan Abela to do the honours for Malta as they partake in the "Oltreoceano" showcase in Italy.
