Corazon, currently preparing for a third consecutive participation in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with the track Ten composed by Paul Giordimaina to the lyrics of Fleur Balzan gave an interview to Mark Spiteri Lucas on Sibt Familja where she announced that she will not be sending in a submission for this years' edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu. The female singer/songwriter is the most successful female artist in the competition, having triumphed on no less than three (3) occasions; Hawn Jien (2007), Tal-Aħħar (2009) and Mill-Għajnejn ta' Tifla (2010).

It is worth noting that her total participation tally stands at five (5) with the other two (2) tracks being Illejla B'Xejn (2008) and It-Tweġiba (2013). Corazon was a guest on Sibt Familja to speak about her debut album Hawn Jien, launched at the University of Malta just a couple of days ago. Earning the respect of musicians and scholars alike has not been an easy feat but with crisp diction and clear vocals, this was achieved. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for the latest news about the local music scene, and remember to visit the official website of L-Għanja tal-Poplu for rules and regulations.
