United Kingdom: John Galea to Support McFly

Some local artists have decided to base their career in foreign waters but that should not be a problem once a national identity is preserved. This is surely the case for the upcoming singer/songwriter John Galea who has most recently written the number one hit single Frontline for 2010 Eurovision Song Contest representative Thea Garrett. Apart from finding success in local waters, John is currently preparing the release of his debut extended play which will bear the name The Scrapbook. In fact, this set of songs will be officially released in the next couple of weeks during the month of April so stay tuned for more about that soon enough.

Apart from releasing his debut extended play and also a video for one of the track within it entitled Drunk On U, he entered an internet competition in which the winner would get the opportunity to support the renowned British Band McFly on their current tour. In the long run, he is the one who came out on top and will be joining the successful trio who most recently found fame in the world of reality television. The group is well known for a number of hits including That Girl, Shine a Light, Obviously and Party Girl amongst others. This is an astonishing achievement for a local artist and we would like to wish John Galea, the very best of luck with his respective endeavours. Stay tuned to for all of the latest news.
