JESC 2014: Participants List bound for September

On the 15th November, Malta will be playing host to this year’s edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and with 13 countries officially confirmed, it seems that both the European Broadcasting Union and the Public Broadcasting Services are working hard to ensure that this is the most successful broadcast of the show in recent years.

In a post on social networking website, Facebook, It was confirmed that a full list of participating countries would be made public by September, in order to ensure that everything is transparent and organised in a correct manner. At this point in time, the confirmed countries for this event are as follows; Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, The Netherlands and Ukraine. It is heavily rumoured that Portugal are also about to submit their paperwork for participation in the event.
