The 2010 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which is set to be held in the capital city of Belarus, Minsk will become a part of Maltese history as well due to the fact that Malta will be represented within the event thanks to the Public Broadcasting Services who have decided that our nation should continue to promote young local talent. This years' entry is none other than "Knock Knock..Boom! Boom" which will be performed by the charismatic Nicole Azzopardi along with her team of three (3) dancers and two (2) backing vocalists.

ESCflashmalta is keeping a very close eye out on the team in order to keep you updated with the latest happenings. Rehearsals are taking place everyday at the moment in order to perfect the product so that it will be presented in the best way possible. We have been in contact with the main singers' manager, Daniel D'Anastasi about the preparations and this is what he had to say "With regards to the promotional aspect of Nicole's campaign, we are currently working night and day to ensure that she gets the maximum publicity possible. Our main aim is to showcase the talent that Malta has to offer with a positive result of course being the added bonus".

In the meantime, the rehearsals are going very swiftly, the kids are having a lot of fun and I am seeing improvements with every run-through". Still we also spoke to the young Nicole who seemed to be very joyful during rehearsals, this is what she had to say "I actually cannot believe that this is happening, it is like I am actually living a dream at the moment.  We are working very hard to make sure that we put on a very good show on the 20th November. The Girls and I are having loads of fun during these rehearsals because apart from singing and making sure to have everything right, we also have a good laugh and crack some jokes. We have become really close friends, it’s like having five (5) more sisters who care for one another ”.

One must say that things look very positive up until this point and one will also be hoping that this enthusiasm and current visual aspect of the entry will be uptaken in Minsk where I am absolutely sure that the team will do us proud.
