In 2014, "Tu Primo Grande Amore", sung by Vincenzo Cantiello was triumphant during the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, giving rise to speculation that Italy could be taking over from Malta, as hosts of the prestigious event. RAI, the public broadcaster on behalf of Italy has declined the opportunity to take on the event, thus prompting a bidding process, one which includes 'two countries', according to Vladislav Yakovlev, Executive Producer of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On stage for the second set of rehearsals, Federica Falzon was truly a beacon of light, with a marvelous vocal performance that sent down a spine-tingling feel throughout everyone watching on the screen or in the arena. The diminutive soprano, winner of Ti Lascio Una Canzone with Vincenzo Carni earlier this year, was wearing a short golden outfit, paired with a belt, and dazzling golden slippers. Designed exclusively by Charles & Ron, the outfit came across as if out of a dream on camera, an effect which they surely wanted to create. In the follow-up press conference where the above…
