Just a week away from the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest! Nicole and her team left Frankfurt mid-morning and arrived in Minsk Airport at around 13.30pm. The Eight edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was one that was deemed as the resurrection of the event with the European Broadcasting Union doing their best to assure that the quality improves drastically. Selecting Belarus to host this years' edition was the best thing that they could do actually because the two time winner of the event has shown loads of interest and took things extremely seriously. In tonight’s Junior Eurovision, Malta placed 13th from the 14 competing countries, only surpassing the Ukrainian entry which has always been considered the weakest song of the contest, even by the bookmakers. There’s no way to go about such a result; after all the hard work and all the effort put in by the Maltese team, the result achieved is surely disappointing.
