The summer programming on local television continues to headline time and time again and one more this evening, Indifest will be broadcast through Net Television with the sole aim to introduce the viewers at home to the acts competing in this years' edition of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza, which in turn is, the biggest showcase for Maltese music in present times with an array of well known and upcoming artists taking centre stage. This year, will be quite an impressive spectacle noting that this will be the twentieth edition and thus it is being organized on a bigger scale. The organising committee is working hard to make sure that all goes well and with resounding quality, things seem to be heading into the right direction. For yet another week, Indifest will be featuring competitions, performances, artist features and also a look back at the history of the festival.

This will is going to be once more a spectacle for all because the program will be seeing two acts from the 'Established Category' whom for this week are none other than Deborah C who you might recall as being the public vote winner just a couple of years ago and has now marked her return with the song 'Fjamma' composed by Philip Vella and penned by Gerard James Borg as well as Neville Refalo who will be performing the song 'Ħajt tal-Kenn' which has been composed by Mark Spiteri Lucas and penned by Joe Chircop. In the meantime, joining them from the 'Teenage Category' will be none other than Daphne Xuereb with the song 'Storja' composed by Miriam Christine and penned by Rita Pace. In the meantime, moving away from singing to another performing art, that of dance with the resident dancers known as Vogue performing for the viewers at home and we will get to know them a bit more as the hosts will also be interviewing them. One final performance is set to be given by former Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza winner, Eleanor Cassar who had topped the billing with the song 'Ix-Xemx Mill-Ġdid' composed by Paul Abela and penned by Joe Julian Farrugia. The show hosted by Charles and Elaine Saliba with the features done by none other than James Xuereb.
