The Azeri head of delegation namely Adil Kerimli told the Press Agency that he would like the country to send a proper Azeri entry as they would like a song by Azerbaijani composers saying "We want to play the song of Azerbaijani composers at the contest next year. We tried it last year but our composers did not make any effort for it".

Maltese singers, composers authors and fans are presently renewing their 7 year demand to have the Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija back again. This festival was organized for decades, and it was abruptly stopped in 2003 with the excuse that the Junior Maltasong was to take its place. This means that to organize something new the authorities of the time preferred to stop something which was over twenty years old . One must note that this festival produced some of the best songs in Maltese ever. Thus, at the time, the authorities had stopped the only national event of songs in the…
Many of the Eurovision Song Contest followers in Malta were angry at the results during the first semi-final which saw Thea Garrett and her song My Dream plummet to 12th Place in the overall scoreboard only 7 points away from qualification. Amongst the points which Malta received were maximum points from Slovakia where our artist was sent on promotion for some four days. In total we were voted by 13 countries from the possible 19 in our semi-final which is quite good. In the meantime, speaking about our participation on the Sunday Times, Joe Mizzi who is the new Public…
The 2011 Eurovision Song Contest is really far away with the end of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest just two days ago. It has not been decided within which city it will take place but what we do know is that it will be the one which has the most accessible airport. Now when Lena Meyer-Landrut arrived back home with Stefan Raab, the man behind the selection this year, he made an announcement. Apparently music mogul Stefan Raab who was the man in charge of the selection of four entries on behalf of Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest, the…

Safura from Azerbaijan who opens the competition is said to be the hot favourite, but i remain with my opinion the song and choreography is overrated, so i don't believe we will head for Baku next year. I have no idea where Spain will end, but i think either very high or very low. The Norwegian has definitely a great song in the competition and they will be getting many points but a second victory in a row will likely not happen i think. Many think Moldova is not strong enough but the song is very catchy and makes you…
