Apart from the rehearsals which took place in the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway throughout the day starting quite late in the morning ending just a couple of hours ago just before 6pm, there was a set of press conferences for each and every nation that took to the stage for the second day today. Our team in Oslo composed of Olivier Vanhoutte, Juergen Boernig, Klaus Berg, Eric Lehmann, Lilian Brunell and Ross Bennett have been recording both rehearsals and press conferences and I would like to thank them on behalf of the people who appreciate their work and have…

On the other hand, the Maltese artist, Thea Garret has been generating interest about her and about our entry ‘My Dream’. Google analytics have issued a statistic…

Oslo 2010: Day 5 - Schedule

By
Today saw the final nine semi-finalists of the second show set to be staged on the 27th May 2010 take to the stage for the very first time with some countries now being names as almost definite qualifiers with others seems less convinced now. Those who really impressed included Ireland whilst those who really did nothing included Turkey. It will be interesting to see whether MTV European Award Winners maNga were been holding back but more will be evident during their second rehearsal I guess. Tomorrow will mark the return of those in the first semi-final as they will be…
Our friends in Oslo, the site for this years' Eurovision Song Contest have informed us that Thea Garrett, the Maltese representative in this years' annual musical event made her way to the Euroclub yesterday evening in order to enjoy the atmosphere of the event knowing that she had a two day period where she could sight see, relax and enjoy her time abroad along with her team. In fact she was joined at the Euroclub by her dancer Jes Sciberras as well as her backing vocalists who are none other than Jackie Pace Delicata, Pamela and Nadine Axisa. Clad in…

Yesterday saw the first eight semi-finalists of the second show set to be staged on the 27th May 2010 take to the stage for the very first time with some countries now being names as almost definite qualifiers with others seems less convinced now. Those who really impressed included Sweden whilst those who really did nothing included Israel. It will be interesting to see whether Harel has been holding back but more will be evident during his second rehearsal I guess. Alas today sees the final group of entrants from the second semi-final take to the stage and those will…
Safura’s first rehearsal became a true artistic discovery for the Eurovision fans and journalists who got the first glimpse of the previously unseen stage performance created for the Azerbaijani artist by Beyonce’s choreographer JaQuel Knight. ‘Drip Drop’ got its new life on stage in Oslo. For the first time Safura performed with her dancer - Denis Hrystuk, finalist of Ukrainian version of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. He brought his special feeling for ‘Drip Drop’ in every move to make this combination of song and dance a complete love story. The spice of Safura’s performance that took the audience…
