The 2012 edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place in less than three weeks time and the Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) are very busy making sure that all of the preparations are finalized in time. For the very first time in the history of the competition, it seems like the initial trials for the performers will be taking place much earlier than usual and the idea behind it is to make sure that during the week of rehearsals, the acts would look as professional as possible, finding themselves comfortable during the performance. Therefore that is what we bring you exclusively today through www.escflashmalta.com, the fact that all of the participants in this years' national showcase have been called for an early rehearsal which is taking place throughout the whole day tomorrow, Monday 16th January 2012.

All of the twenty four participants are currently busy with a promotional schedule set out by the team coordinating this years' Malta Eurovision Song Contest lead by Peter Carbonaro. There have been a number of appearances on Television Malta (TVM) including shows such as 'Sellili' hosted by former music competition representative Claudette Pace, on 'TVAM' with Pierre Portelli, Dr.Joe Mifsud and Daphne Cassar and most recently on 'Sibtek' hosted by the well known Ryan Borg. Foreign interest in the competition has been quite surprising this year with a strong fan base for particular entries. In the meantime, these rehearsals tomorrow will be focusing mostly on the camera shots, one of the elements which has surely not been fully up to standard during the years. It is imperative for the Public Broadcasting Services to organize this show at its best level now that it is celebrating fifty years since the initial transmission to the public at home. We would like to thank our sources for their reliability and urge you to keep following ESCflashmalta for all the latest news as soon as anymore details are uncovered.
