Throughout the years, one of the most successful countries in the Eurovision Song Contest has surely been Greece especially since the turn of the millennium where the results have improved significantly. Despite this though, the recent turn of events in terms of finances within the country has led to a dressed down participation with the backing of record labels proving to be quite important. This time round, the broadcaster, ERT is working with Universal Music Greece who will be taking care of all he costs. Earlier today, four (4) possible entries for the Eurovision Song Contest were revealed and now it is time for people all over Europe.

The four artists who will be performing the songs are yet to be officially revealed and therefore it will be quite interesting although certain names are already being released it seems because some voices tend to be quite distinct. The tracks are actually all in English and this is also a very interesting point to make noting that in recent years, Greece kept to their national language most distinctively with the song 'OPA!' in 2010 which won the semi-final and finished in seventh place. Last year, their entry 'Watch My Dance' did have some Greek in terms of language but kept to mainstream English also winning the semi-final and coming in seventh place.

Song 01: Killer Bee

Song 02: No Parking

Song 03: Afrodisiac

Song 04: Baby I'm Yours

The names of the artists along with their respective preview videos will be released on the 1st March 2012 throught Universal Music Greece and ERT. The nation will be taking part in the first semi-final therefore not with Kurt Calleja who will be representing Malta. The final choice for the entry will be made on the 12th March 2012 when the national final will be held at River West mall in Athens. Stay tuned for more information only on ESCflashmalta as we cover the 2012 edition of the European music competition.
