ERT (The Greek national broadcaster), in a press release which was held today, has revealed some more news regarding the Greek selection for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan. The selection is about to take place on the 12th of March where 4 acts will be competing against each other.

The songs will be made available to listen to online as from the 28th of February but we have to wait till the 1st of March in order to get to know who the artists are. On Tuesday 28th, the 4 songs will be published online on ERT’s official website, on their facebook page and also on Twitter at around 10:00CET. The result of getting to know the artists after we listen to the songs is that ERT claims that the main emphasis should be on the song. Let’s face it; it’s called a Song Contest after all! From then on, the songs are to be promoted on ERT radio stations and a promotional video will also come out. Escflashmalta will be keeping you updated on this selection and others so stay tuned!
