The German selection for the Eurovision Song Contest known as Unser Star für Baku has just come to an end and it seems like the songs were not received that well by the people who were following the showcase but then again, well done to both the broadcasters who produced the show being none other than ProSieben and ARD/Das Erste. The winner now has been crowned and another one of the songs by the 'Big 5' has now been revealed. The singer will be none other than Roman Lob whilst the song he will be performing is entitled 'Standing Still'.

The competition was quite tough along the way true but then again, he only missed out winning the first programme. It is quite interesting that his very close competitor this evening being Ornella de Santis almost beat him with less than 1% difference in voting. Competing with different types of songs might have been quite interesting at the end but Roman was in it to win it and now he will be performing the track 'Standing Still' in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest when it goes to Baku, in Azerbaijan. The song has a lot of similarity to 'Running Scared' but then again, the pace in the notes is slightly faster. It will be quite interesting to see how it will do in May.
