The Netherlands: This Week on Radio International

The Team of Radio International would like to invite to join the weekly Ultimate Eurovision Experience. The Show is broadcast on 106.8FM and Digital Cable 41 in the Netherlands and also via the internet via and will also be web-televised via the show's own Live Video Channel via the website. The simulcast will exceptionally be from 2000 – 2400 hours CET this Wednesday.

Co-hosting and Interview with Sietse Bakker from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU):

Radio International is extremely honoured to have Sietse Bakker with us live in the studio. Sietse Bakker is the Executive Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and also Event Coordinator of the Eurovision Song Contest working closely together with the Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest - Jan Ola Sand from the European Broadcasting Union - for short the EBU. Sietse will be with us throughout the entire show this week and is ready to answer also your questions you can send in via the website's CONTACT link and via the Livestream chatroom. But also Sietse will be co-hosting the show this week with a whole list of great entries to the Eurovision Song Contest which carry a story and also there are some detailed background information of the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. Make sure not to miss this special edition of Eurovision Radio International which this weeks lasts for four hours from 2000 - 2400 hours exceptionally.

Winner Interview with Kurt Calleja (Malta 2012):

On 04 February 2012 the Maltese broadcaster pbs presented to the viewers the 16 finalists that made it from the Semi Final from the day before into the Final which was staged in Malta's Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC) in Ta'Qali in the heart of Malta. The show was called "The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2012" and the Maltese nation together with an international panel voted for the song "This is the night" performed by Kurt Calleja who will represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku in Semi Final 2. The Team of Radio International made two interviews with Kurt. One before the contest which you will hear next week and the other one right after the Winner's Press Conference.

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - "The National Finals so far" with Chris Poppe:

Until the end of the National Final Season  for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 (10 March 2012) the Radio International Eurovision specialists will be taking a weekly look at the songs that have been selected for Baku so far. Chris will take a look at some highlights from National Finals and Semi Finals of Azerbaijan, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Lithuania, Malta, Norway and Sweden.

Euro Friends Song Contest 2012 with Andy Simon:

The next season of the Euro Friends Song Contest is under way in search for the ultimate Eurovision song as voted for by the many fans around the world.  Andy  Simon joins us every week to reveal the qualifiers for the next round.  The website of the Euro Friends Song Contest where you can easily vote for your favourite Eurovision song per country and also see The Euro-Friends TV Show as hosted by Andy Simon. You can also join the Facebook Group. This week Andy looks at the next qualifiers from Heats 35 (Italy).

Interview with Anggun (France 2012):

During the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2012 which was held last weekend Angun presented the French entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 called "Echo - You and I". The native Indonesian and French citizen has a given the Team of Radio International a very nice interview you can also enjoy on this week's show.
