Context is important for any term in the dictionary to be used and it is to be noted that success is one of those terms which are used somewhat inexplicably in the Maltese Islands but then again, one artist who is merited with the use is surely none other than Ira Losco who has worked her way up from being the girl next door who represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest way back in 2002 with the track 7th Wonder to the pop/rock chic who takes your breath away at just a glance. Nevertheless, the fact remains that in the past couple of years, Ira has had somewhat of a break from music settling into a normal life noting that she had been working in the industry since she was a teenager and needed a little bit of a break. Following a number of performances a couple of years back including on foreign shores in Italy, she took the hiatus but she promised that she would be back with a fresh sound to take the scene by surprise and that is indeed what she is currently carrying out.

Ira Losco is a stunning woman who graces the covers of local magazines and also billboards promoting some of the most noteworthy companies in the country but it is her latest single What I'd Give which is currently stealing the show with the track being a huge hit in Malta noting that it is currently the second most played local track on Bay Radio only to be beaten by Destination Nowhere featuring the musical styling of JJoy and Maria Nayler but then again, it has also led the local iTunes chart in recent days therefore making it the most sold local track at the moment.  The promotional video which has now racked up more than 15,000 hits in total sees Ira in a variety of different characters, somewhat playing homage to one of the most popular drama series in Malta, that being Min Imissu which was also created by Take2Productions who took care of the video. Ira Losco is looking to release her follow up material in just a couple of months time and we have to let you in on the fact that will be keeping you posted all the way through including some exclusive content therefore, make sure to stay tuned.
