Max Gazze’ and Gigi D'Alessio are known as two of the most identifiable performers in Italy and one of the things which they seem to share is the love of performing with others and one of the individuals that they have shared the stage with is none other than the Maltese pop/rock chic, Ira Losco whose catapult to fame was gradual through public perception. Following the release of her last studio album in 2008 known as Fortune Teller which included a string of hits including Idle MotionDon't Look DownShoulders of Giants and What's The Matter With You? amongst others, it seems that Ira wanted to take some time off and indeed she did but late in 2011, she made her intentions to return quite clear and in the summer of 2012, she made this happen with the release of a brand new single entitled What I'd Give which has seen her triumph at the Bay Music Awards and the ONE Tribute Awards. The performances from her are becoming a joy to watch again and she is definitely back in the spotlight once more.

Last night, escflashmalta.com was present during an open air gig that Ira Losco was giving in the recently inaugurated open air theatre in Valletta and joined by her band members including Peter and Ivan Borg from the band, Red Electrick, it was a set which will not be forgotten noting that in one hour and a half, she managed to play around three covers and most of her song book including three songs entitled Me Luv You Long TimeIs This the Love? and What I'd Give from the brand new album which title is yet to be revealed and it will in due course through escflashmalta.com hence forth why she kept on giving clues for the people to answer during the evening, one of them being that this particular element is easy to ignite as it is to extinguish. Watching her performances last night was a true gift noting that her vocals are faultless and the energy delivered is merited throughout. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for more news in the coming days.
