Planet Seed, a local band featuring Stefan Farrugia on lead guitars, Liam Spiter on bass, Chris Galea on drums, Etienne Scicluna on keyboards and Klinsmann as lead vocalist and guitarist are set to perform at the Farsons Beer Festival this evening. The band actually garnered mainstream attention following the release of their debut single It's Gonna Be Ok which quickly took the airwaves by storm and peaked at number #1 on Malta's Top Ten with Nathan D on 89.7 Bay. The second single entitled Want You to Know, was not as successful as the first but still managed to peak at number #1 for three consecutive weeks.

The band also gained a nomination at the Bay Music Awards for Best New Artist, ultimately missing out to Cryptic Street, a six piece band made up of only females. Tonight, the Farsons Beer Festival is not only welcoming Planet Seed to the Main Stage though as the leading lady of the music scene, Ira Losco who has recently released her sixth studio album, The Fire under Jagged House will also be performing a string of hit songs. Ira has also recently taken up a guest editorial slot at escflashmalta.com as she reveals her top five monthly tracks. We would like you to stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for all of the latest news as soon as it becomes available.
