OGAE Malta, the local representative committee within the international fan club of the Eurovision Song Contest has just unveiled a brand new selection format for the annual OGAE Video Contest which was last year won by Italy and the video of the song E' L'Amore Che Conta performed by Giorgia. Since it's inception back in 2003, Malta has been present and has also peaked at sixth place on two occasions, the first time in 2005 with the video for the song I'm In Love Again by Ira Losco and second time round in 2006 with the video for the track Love On The Radio sung by Fabrizio Faniello.

In an official press release sent out by Deo Grech, a long time representative of OGAE Malta, it has now been announced that the selection process will be completely open for the public. The voting will officially commence on the 15th August 2013 but nevertheless, you could still get acquainted with the shortlist of entries as selected by the organising body. Tomorrow, co-written by Boris Cezek and Dean Muscat with vocals provided by Gianluca could not be included within the list due to the regulation that the songs cannot be from that years' edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Nevertheless, artists whose videos have been selected include former representative; Ira Losco as well as former national final participants; Davinia and Kelly Schembri.

The Person I Am - Ira Losco

Sinners - Lauren Aquilina

Indecisive - Cryptic Street

I'd Rather Die - Carrie Haber

Sweet Sister - Chris & Cheryl

You are My Home - Davinia

In Time - Yews

What I'd Give - Ira Losco

Strip Search - Honorebel ft Kelly Schembri & Stephen Davids

Fools - Lauren Aquilina
