Airport Impressions, one of the most formidable groups in the local music industry, which comprises of Errol Sammut, Johann Schembri, Chris Curmi and Steve Farrugia, have been extremely busy in the studio working on their upcoming studio album release, their sophomore and the follow-up to their successful debut entitled Minutes of a Lifetime. As guest performers at the upcoming edition of the Bay Music Awards, set to take place on the 21st December at the Bay Arena, Airport Impressions will surely be playing their new single Hymns of June.

Hymns of June is the first single release off the yet untitled album, which is proving to be a mixture of genres yet predominantly based on the sound that has made Of Monsters and Men and Mumford and Sons, two groups to be reckoned with. Recorded and Jagged House Studios, run by Howard Keith Debono, Airport Impressions are seeking gold with their new material and hoping to succeed in the same manner that fellow friend and artist, Ira Losco has in recent months with her record The Fire topping both the radio and the digital charts for several weeks. You could listen to the acoustic version of the song featuring Johann and Errol just below, having been recorded especially for 89.7 Bay and await the full release in due course. Stay tuned to escflashmalta.com for all of the latest news.
