Sophie DeBattista, an independent female singer/songwriter who has never runaway from a challenge, even when the going gets tough. A former representative of Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as well as being a two-time Malta Eurovision Song Contest participant, she has decided to release her new song without any funding whatsoever, and solely owning the copyright. So Damn Perfect, a masterful pop ballad showcases the chops that Sophie has without taking away from any of her other previous releases which have ranged from Indie to Bubblegum Pop.

Based in London, but often in Malta, one has to point out the sheer determination that Sophie seems to have in every project she puts her mind to. During the recent edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest, her entry Let the Sunshine In was a ditty tune which many did not even give attention to prior to the semi-final stage of the competition when the performance came alive. So Damn Perfect stems away from that genre as already mentioned but has my full backing for being different and professional at the same time. We urge you to purchase the song from iTunes or stream it through Spotify whilst logged into escflashmalta.com for all the latest news.
